Life with diabetes consists in keeping under control the glucose level in the blood, thanks to a diet, physical activity, the use of oral hypoglicemic agents and lastly insulin injection. Drugs are used as pills and injections and represent a good help in the maintenance of glucose levels in the blood.
- In people affected by type II diabetes an oral therapy based on pills is adequate to contain the disease. Both, an healthy diet and a fitness program, contribute greatly to improve the quality of life. If the condition get worse, a therapy based on insulin injection is required.
- People with type I or serious type II diabetes, need daily insulin injections
